I met Senator McCain just at one of my life's crossroads.  All good experiences though, since even bad situations lead to better ones.

As his book "Character is Destiny", I really concur with this guy in many statements; especially in that perseverance is stronger than fate (a hidden axiom the I Ching told me about it). 

Perhaps if I would had known Senator McCain years ago, my rationale would have advise me differently.  Perhaps.  But from a personal viewpoint -the kind of view that makes you learn from every men-, I highlight the toughness and straightforward of his manners: six-year war prisoner, a Republican-Party maverick, friend of global puppeteers, and mainly a man that stays put.

Trump que chingue a su madre.

Si somos verdaderos Trekkies (seguidores de la famosa Saga concebida por Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek) nos daremos cuenta que su cosmovisión, derivada de la imaginación novelesca que inicia con las fantasías mitológicas de los antiguos griegos y luego tiene quizás su máximo exponente en Julio Verne (y de ahí pa'ca todos los que le siguen, incluido Rodenberry y hasta el mexicano agringado Roberto Orsi), siendo un planteamiento literario muy simple, se basa en pocos elementos que sorprendentemente resultan de un valor humano (y por ende antropológico) extraordinario, a saber:

Todos somos en esencia (en dignidad y libertad) iguales en el espacio (no importa el planeta del cual provengamos).

El respeto a/y entre todos, es por lo tanto una condición fundamental de convivencia y prosperidad junto con la libertad.

Las riquezas No importan, puesto que todo es accesible para todos, la teletransportación hace inútiles: autos, motos, bicis, aviones, lanchas, ya que moverse de un lugar a otro no requiere mas que solicitarlo. Un salario o una cuenta de banco, son por ende algo inecesario.

Los materializadores, con solo una orden, elaboran lo que se les pida, ya sea un Té (Earl Grey) o un anillo de brillante Flawless de 15 kilates montado sobre platino y oro blanco. Pero puesto que todo lo comestible, bebible y portable es elaborable en ese aparato de 50cms x 50cms nada tiene valor real excepto la vida... y esa es la única que los sofisticados equipos materializadores no pueden crear. 

No. La vida y en especial la humana se genera (afortunadamente) por medio del intercambio celular entre dos personas de sexo complementario... ohh el delicioso sexo y sus copulaciones y orgasmos... son la única manera de concebir y reproducir nueva vida... y como todos son dignos e iguales, previo al sexo se tiene la condición del amor y el compromiso.

Todo lo demás es accesible y está a la mano... basta pedirlo a voz viva o (si lo personalizas) lo pides con tus vibraciones personales con solo pensarlo...

Se tiene a la mano Incluso toda experiencia de vida, la que se te ocurra. Siempre y cuando tengas las habilidades y los conocimientos reales para vivirlos...

Porque en el mundo del Holodeck (el departamento de Holografía Tangible), el deseo de cada quien se vuelve realidad de manera casi idéntica a la realidad y tangible. Una cascada te moja, en el lodo te embarras, montas un caballo o te magnifica un micrófono si eres el vocalista de Judas Priest.

Machu Pichu o Los campos Eliseos pueden materializarse en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Hasta entremezclarse...  ese es el mundo que concibió Gene... (de El Paso Tejas por cierto).

A bordo del Enterprise, se puede viajar a velocidad WARP (es algo así como mas rápido que la velocidad de la luz) lo que permite llegar a cada vez mas y nuevos rincones del universo (desconocido) y con ello crecer a ese ritmo los espacios familiares para la humanidad, que respetuosa de todos solo se defiende y en dado caso destruye con Phasers (¿Lasers por fases?) a los que No respetan la libertad ni el respeto mismos.  

Y si la Enterprise y sus Gatilleros (botoneros mas bien porque No tiene Gatillo el tablero de la nave, sino Botones) no pudieron destruir a esos susodichos "malosos" entonces huye a velocidad Warp de regreso a Zona "Safe" sin decir Good Bye. Y así... 

Trekky era Steve Jobs... por eso estuvo chingue y chingue hasta que inventó unos radios-computadora (iphone) de cristal tangible y que reaccionan al tacto...  ahora en su edición 7 (aunque en realidad es la 4a porque comenzó a venderse desde el iphone 3) sin contar sus ampollas (lo que sobresale) las versiones S. (Me pregunto que significa la S ¿Special o Super o Standard o Sopenco?) ah.. No importa.

El Tema es que Star Trek te ofrece un mundo lleno de posibilidades con lucesitas, habitaciones cómodas y seguras, transportación segura y rápida y un ilimitado mundo lleno de posibilidades.

Pero TODO ESTO, no existe todavía... apenas algunas cosas, como la comunicación portable telefónica o teledática.

Y Lo mas interesante, lo mas relevante de lo que existe en el mundo Trekky, es que TODO viene de lo que tenemos o hemos tenido aquí...

Es irónico, pero el 100% de los avances tecnológicos, usan electricidad para funcionar o para ser elaborados...  No siempre (Ni a Huevo...) pero si quieres hacerlos mas rápido y mejor, la electricidad u otra forma de energía es bienvenida. 

La electricidad... Un fenómeno natural que los seres humanos conocemos desde la antigüedad y que apenas hace pocos siglos empezamos realmente a conocer mejor y a manejarla a dominarla. 

Y cuando nos damos cuenta que el iphone o el auto mas moderno NO pudieran funcionar sin esa Natural electricidad, como tampoco sin ella funcionamos nosotros, ni la vida... entonces nos damos cuenta de que lo que hemos avanzado está limitado a esa energía...

Y al simplificarnos llegamos a una conclusión mas simple cada vez...  la vida es lo único real que tenemos. Y para aquellos que hemos experimentado lo metafísico, bueno... que maravilla... también existe eso. El espíritu... 

El hombre, los seres vivos, para vivir bien solo necesitamos: Oxígeno, Alimentos, Agua, un aceptable nivel de calor, de humedad y de espacio para descansar y para movernos.  La vida se adereza con trabajo en un entorno de Bio Armonía... (cuando se vive saludablemente,

Ni enfermedades ni Curas son por ende necesarias).

Y creer en algo, anhelarlo... ¿no? Ah y música... y belleza.

Todo esto lo provee el Peru de manera generosa... ¿qué no? 

Son la nación lider en Gastronomía (es la ciencia humana que traduce los alimentos en placer y trabajo valiosos)

Son la nación líder en Liderazgo por Razón y Humildad...

Son los grandes convocantes de las razones antropológicas de fondo...

Los Campeones de la defensa del Planeta (aunque Costa Rica sea el lider Ustedes si lograron los pre acuerdos a la final en Paris)

Son un mortero suave donde se puede emulsionar el placer de vivir.  Viva Perú, Viva la América Ancestral... 

¿Qué mas podríamos pedir?

El futuro que viene es muy interesante:

El destino tecnológico se está adelantando.

China es ya la economía mas grande del planeta, pero va a seguir teniendo mas pobres que ningún otro país del mundo (excepto quizás India) lo cual es irónico.

Esa bonanza China pone en riesgo a las democracias y a los sistemas libres.

La industria petrolera va a perder mucho mas mercado debido a las nuevas tecnologías de generación de electricidad (tu sabes mucho mas de eso) pero también merced a una movilidad en vehículos que no consumen combustibles fósiles.

La industria automotriz está en un salto tecnológico hacia la autonomía total de los vehículos, que serán compartidos, replanteando el tamaño de los parques vehiculares.

En buena medida el mercado de autos ya no será el mismo pues no hace sentido tener un auto guardado habiendo autos disponibles y programables por viaje que se aprovecharían mas y mejor y al ser eléctricos contaminan menos el aire y por ruido.

El gobierno federal de EE UU está muy endeudo porque así es como han hecho crecer su economía trasnacionalmente.

Si sumas estos factores, Trump ofrece certezas que necesitan los ciudadanos que tienen miedo. Mucho miedo.

Asi las cosas están muy tensas.

Los eufemismos de la guerra (o la vigencia de Von Clausewitz) - I

Los países occidentales ya no hacen la guerra. Entran en conflictos justos, y solo por razones humanitarias. Las víctimas civiles que provoca un bombardeo no son muertos o heridos, sino daños colaterales. Un soldado que protege un pozo de petróleo en un país extranjero no sirve a unos intereses económicos, sino que lucha por su patria. Así mismo, aquellos que se oponen a las actuaciones armadas de este tipo (antimilitaristas) podrán ser considerados antipatriotas. Y España no vende armas a países que no respetan los derechos humanos, sino material de doble uso.

Realpolitik or the American reality show (Let's defeat Trump!)

We vote for the best entertainer. The most entertaining political figure is the winner. And that is Trump. He kills. The rest are dead.

So how can the Democrats defeat The Donald? Like the man in the movie says, you need a machine to beat a machine.

The Democrats should wake up, ditch Hillary (who has all the entertainment of a schoolmarm), and find someone even more entertaining and better TV than The Donald if they expect to win.

My suggestion: Take The Donald at his word and undercut him while you can. Draft Oprah. It's your only chance. Jon Stewart? Good TV but does not really rate big numbers. But Oprah? A ratings titan! And she doesn't seem to be doing much these days.

If you think the Fox GOP debates got viewership wait until you see the Presidential debate between Trump and Oprah. 90% viewership, I bet. The ad spots will go for more than the Superbowl. Battle of the Titans. The Thrillers in Cleveland (or wherever it takes place).

Of course, once the election is over, we'll all have to live with President Trump or President Oprah, But what the heck, move a few cameras into the White House and we'll have a Reality Show that will go on for years.

The country may go to hell in a hand basket, but at least it will be fun to watch.

The National Security Agency is working with Internet service providers to deploy a new generation of tools to scan e-mail and other digital traffic with the goal of thwarting cyberattacks against defense firms by foreign adversaries, senior defense and industry officials say.

The novel program, which began last month on a voluntary, trial basis, relies on sophisticated NSA data sets to identify malicious programs slipped into the vast stream of Internet data flowing to the nation’s largest defense firms. Such attacks, including one last month against Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin, are nearly constant as rival nations and terrorist groups seek access to U.S. military secrets.

“We hope the . . . cyber pilot can be the beginning of something bigger,” Deputy Defense Secretary William J. Lynn III said at a global security conference in Paris on Thursday. “It could serve as a model that can be transported to other critical infrastructure sectors, under the leadership of the Department of Homeland Security.”

The prospect of a role for the NSA, the nation’s largest spy agency and a part of the Defense Department, in helping Internet service providers filter domestic Web traffic already had sparked concerns among privacy activists. Lynn’s suggestion that the program might be extended beyond the work of defense contractors threatened to raise the stakes.

James X. Dempsey, vice president for public policy at the Center for Democracy & Technology, a civil liberties group, said that limiting the NSA’s role to sharing data is “an elegant solution” to the long-standing problem of how to use the agency’s expertise while avoiding domestic surveillance by the government. But, he said, any extension of the program must guarantee protections against government access to private Internet traffic.

“We wouldn’t want this to become a backdoor form of surveillance,” Dempsey said…

The number 1. Adolf Hitler went from being a lance corporal in the German army, to chancellor of Germany in 15 years. The holocaust may have been his subordinates doing, but he knew about it, which, amazingly, has only been fairly recently proven. Adolf Hitler had a major role in initiating the bloodiest conflict ever, which still has a massive bearing on the world to this day. His megalomania saw large parts of Europe devastated in his lifetime and forced into communism after the war

Heinrich Himmler

Definitely the architect of the holocaust and the biggest mass murderer ever, second only to Josef Stalin. The holocaust would not have happened if not for this man. He tried to breed a master race of Nordic appearance, the Aryan race. His plans for racial purity were ended by Hitler’s vanity in making rash military decisions rather than letting his generals make them, thus ending the war prematurely. Himmler was captured after the war. He unsuccessfully tried to negotiate with the west, and was genuinely shocked to be treated as a criminal upon capture. He committed suicide by swallowing a cyanide capsule he had bit upon.

Reinhard Heydrich

Heydrich was appointed Protector of Bohemia and Moravia. In August 1940, he was appointed and served as President of Interpol. Heydrich chaired the 1942 Wannsee Conference, which discussed plans for the deportation and extermination of all Jews in German occupied territory, thus being the mastermind of the holocaust. He was attacked by British trained Czech agents on 27 May, 1942, sent to assassinate him in Prague. He died slightly over a week later from complications arising from his injuries. The foundations of genocide were laid by Heydrich and carried out in Operation Reinhard in his name.

Joseph Mengele

Doctor in anthropology from Munich University and in medicine from Frankfurt University, Josef Rudolf Mengele was a German SS officer and a physician in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz. Mengele initially gained notoriety for being one of the SS physicians who supervised the selection of arriving transports of prisoners, determining who was to be killed and who was to become a forced laborer, but is far more infamous for performing grisly human experiments on camp inmates, for which Mengele was called the “Angel of Death”. His crimes were evil and of many. When it was reported that one hospital block was infested with lice, Mengele gassed every single one of the 750 women assigned to it. Mengele used Auschwitz as an opportunity to continue his research on heredity, using inmates for human experimentation. He was particularly interested in identical twins. Mengele’s experiments included attempts to take one twin’s eyeballs and attach them to the back of the other twin’s head, changing eye color by injecting chemicals into children’s eyes, various amputations of limbs, and other brutal surgeries. He survived the war, and after a period living incognito in Germany, he fled to South America, where he evaded capture for the rest of his life, despite being hunted as a Nazi war criminal.

Adolf Eichmann

Eichmann was the organizational talent that orchestrated the mass deportation of Jews from their countries into waiting ghettos and extermination camps. A prodigy of Heydrich, he is sometimes referred to as “the architect of the Holocaust”. He learned Hebrew and studied all things Jewish in order to manipulate Jews, through his power of coercion, to leave their occupied territories and possessions in favor of a better life in the ghettos. At the end of the war he was doing the same to Hungarian Jews and, if it wasn’t for the intervention of Raoul Wallenberg, the number of victims of the holocaust would have been much higher. He fled Germany at the end of the war via a ratline to south America, and was captured by the Mossad in Argentina. He was extradited to Israel and executed by hanging in 1962, after a highly publicized trial. Eichmanns death was, and is, the only civil execution ever carried out in Israel.

Hermann Goering

A WW1 veteran, the Reichsmarschall was head of the luftwaffe, and the founder of the gestapo. After the fall of France he stole millions of pounds worth of art from Jews, and amassed a personal fortune. Goering took part in the beer hall putsch of 1923 and was wounded in the groin. Subsequently, taking morphine for pain relief, he became addicted to the drug for the rest of his life. In 1940, the Marshal ordered the bombing of the civilian population of Britain (the Blitz) and was involved in planning the holocaust. Goering was the highest ranking defendant during the Nuremberg Trials. Sentenced to hang, he committed suicide in his cell the night before his execution by cyanide ingestion.

Nikolaus 'Klaus' Barbie

Nikolaus 'Klaus' Barbiewas an SS-Hauptsturmführer (rank equivalent to army captain) and Gestapo member. He was known as the "Butcher of Lyon" for having personally tortured prisoners of the Gestapo while stationed in Lyon, France. After the war, United States intelligence services employed him for anti-communist efforts and also helped him escape to South America. The Bundesnachrichtendienst, the German intelligence agency, recruited him, and he may have helped the CIA capture Argentine revolutionary Che Guevara in 1967. Barbie also is suspected of having a hand in the Bolivian coup d'état orchestrated by Luis García Meza Tejada in 1980. After the fall of the dictatorship, Barbie no longer had the support of the government and was extradited to France, where he was convicted of war crimes and died in prison.

Josef Goebbels

Dr. Paul Josef Goebbels was the Reich Minister of Propaganda, and a vehement antisemite. Goebbels speeches of hatred against Jews arguably initiated the final solution, and no doubt helped sway public opinion to the detriment of the Jewish people. A sufferer of polio, Goebbels had a club foot, but this did not effect his standing as the second best orator in The Reich. He coined the phrase “Total War”, and was instrumental in convincing the nation to fight long after the war was effectively lost. At the end of the war, a devoted Goebbels stayed in Berlin with Hitler and killed himself, along with his wife Magda and their six young children.

Paul Blobel

During the German invasion of the Soviet Union, he commanded Sonderkommando 4a of Einsatzgruppe C, that was active in Ukraine. Following Wehrmacht troops into Ukraine, the Einsatzgruppen would be responsible for liquidating political and racial undesirables. Blobel was primarily responsible for the Babi Yar massacre at Kiev. Up to 59,018 executions are attributable to Blobel, though during testimony he was alleged to have killed 10,000-15,000. He was later sentenced to death by the U.S. Nuremberg Military Tribunal in the Einsatzgruppen Trial. He was hanged at Landsberg Prison on June 8, 1951.

Ilse Koch

Last but not least, we have the “Bitch of Buchenwald” because of her sadistic cruelty towards prisoners, Ilse Koch was married to another wicked Nazi SS, Karl Otto Koch, but outshone him in the depraved, inhumane, disregard for life which was her trademark. She used her sexual prowess by wandering around the camps naked, with a whip, and if any man so much as glanced at her she would have them shot on the spot. The most infamous accusation against Ilse Koch was that she had selected inmates with interesting tattoos to be killed, so that their skins could be made into lampshades for her home (though, unfortunately, no evidence of these lampshades has been found). After the war she was arrested and spent time in prison on different charges, eventually hanging herself in her cell in 1967, apparently consumed by guilt.
